Public Bus Services
Experience the convenience of Rarotonga’s public bus services, operating on both Clockwise and Anticlockwise routes.

• Monday to Saturday:
  • Clockwise Route: First departure from town at 7:00 AM, hourly until 5:00 PM.
  • Anticlockwise Route: First departure from town at 8:30 AM, hourly until the last departure at 4:30 PM.
  • Note: On Saturdays, the Anticlockwise route operates only until 1:30 PM.
  • Night Bus: Runs hourly from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

   

• Sunday:
  • Clockwise Route Only: Operates from 8:00am – 12:00pm then 2:00pm to 4:00pm.
  • No Anticlockwise or Night Bus services are available on Sundays.

Airport Transfers
We provide group transportation services to and from Rarotonga International Airport, ideal for groups of 20 or more passengers. Luggage transportation is also available if required.

• Pricing: This service is charged at a flat rate per bus.

Fares and Luggage Policy
All fares are in NZD, but USD, AUD, and EURO notes are accepted at a dollar-for-dollar rate (no calculated exchange rates). For exchange services, visit the currency exchange offices or banks in the main town area.

• Luggage Fee: $2 per large bag or suitcase (size assessed by the driver).

Standard Fares:

• Adult One Way (Single Ride): $5
  Travel between Point A and Point B without completing a full island circuit.
• Adult Return (Two Rides): $8
  Travel from Point A to Point B and back without completing a full island circuit.
• Round Trip (Circle Island Tour): $8
  Complete a full circuit of the island, returning to Point A.

Child Fares (Ages 3–12):

• One Way (Single Ride): $3
  • Travel between Point A and Point B.
• Return (Two Rides): $4
  • Travel from Point A to Point B and back.
